Benchmarking

King’s and Warwick are each undertaking a review of their curricula with respect to the five characteristics – advanced academic literacy, community engagement, global connectedness, interdisciplinarity and research-rich environment. The reviews will inform the Curriculum Working Groups of existing practices at the Universities and will help to identify commonalities, gaps for further investigation and evidence of best practice.

The project team are investigating research-intensive universities in the UK and internationally that have engaged in major curriculum change, to better understand the impact of introducing innovative curriculum and to identify best practice.

The project is funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE).
